Spotlight Artist: Jennifer Rachel Hart

Before joining the Sovereign Artist program, Jenn Hart’s mind was overflowing with ideas—her creativity was electric—but follow-through often felt impossible. Instead of celebrating her unique way of thinking, she found herself doubting whether she could ever take her art seriously.
Fast forward to today: With structure, accountability, and encouragement, Jenn began seeing her mind as the powerhouse of creativity it truly is. That shift changed everything. In less than a year, she created 40 original fluid acrylic paintings, launched her very first solo exhibition (complete with an artist talk), and sold several works to new collectors.

      Spotlight Artist: Therese Kettman

Before joining the Become Internationally Known program, Therese Kettman was on the edge of giving up. Her dream of international exhibitions and real recognition felt like it was slipping away. She described it as “coals burning deep within me” that were about to be extinguished by hopelessness and self-doubt.
Fast forward to today: Therese chose to say yes—to herself, to her art, and to her future. That single decision ignited a creative wildfire. She painted over 100 new works, launched her first solo exhibition, connected with collectors who truly understand her vision, and most importantly, reclaimed her joy and identity as a thriving artist.

      Spotlight Artist: Erin Schantz-Hilton

Before joining the Become Internationally Known program, Erin Schantz-Hilton was deeply connected to her art and her mission—but progress felt painfully slow. With other commitments pulling her away, one painting could take a full year to complete, and she often hesitated to share her work beyond the easel.
Fast forward to today: Erin has stepped fully into her role as both artist and advocate. She built a brand-new studio dedicated to protecting and celebrating the natural world, and launched a season-long solo exhibition at Sheldrake Point Winery in New York. Even more, she increased her art sales by nearly 200% and found her voice.

      Spotlight Artist: Sage Harrington

Before joining The Sovereign Artist program (formerly known as Become Internationally Known), musician Sage Harrington was caught in the same cycle many artists know too well—scarcity, self-doubt, and the nagging fear of “charging too much.” Despite years of performing, teaching, and creating music she loved, her inner voice kept whispering: Be grateful for anything. Don’t ask for too much.
Fast forward to today: Sage has rewritten her money story from the inside out. With the program’s pricing curriculum and a supportive coaching container, she raised her rates, set new standards, and claimed her true worth. When a recent client hired her for a high-end gig, Sage confidently named a fee five times higher than she ever had before—and the client paid it without hesitation.

      Spotlight Artist: Georgia Wisbey

Before joining the Sovereign Artist community, Georgia Wisbey had vision and passion in spades—but something invisible was holding her back. She struggled to share her work, doubting herself and lacking the practical tools to present her art with confidence.
Fast forward to today: Georgia has transformed that hesitation into momentum. With support, she wrote a powerful bio and artist statement, documented her work professionally, and fine-tuned how she speaks about her art. The results? A glowing online review, her first solo exhibition, and a brand-new body of work she never dreamed was possible.

      Spotlight Artist: Beata Marczak

Before working with the Become Internationally Known program two years ago, Artist Beata Marczak had big dreams…  But struggled to find a consistent rhythm or the balance she craved. She would procrastinate on some things…  And then force others to move along too quickly. This process was exhausting. She needed a clear vision and path forward. Fast forward to today: Beata successfully completed a solo exhibition… 15 group exhibitions… And sold over 45 paintings. Not just that, she is now recognized by an enthusiastic group of collectors and her local community.

      Spotlight Artist: Chanelle Jefferson

Before she joined the Become Internationally Known community two years ago, she was lugging her $30 prints and cards to farmers markets around Nova Scotia just to cover the cost of the table she sold them on. She was working paycheck to paycheck and couldn’t see the way out.
Fast forward to this year: She celebrated her first $30,000 sales *month* and flew her first $14,000 commission from Nova Scotia to Portugal to deliver it.

      Spotlight Artist: Pauline van Rijckevorsel

Before joining the Become Internationally Known program nine months ago, Pauline had already begun to build a solid financial foundation she felt proud of… Yet she still had nagging feelings of scarcity and fear.
Today, she is more confident than ever and recognized in her local art community; she can truly embrace sales and exhibition opportunities that come her way.

      Spotlight Artist: Emma Coombes

Before joining the Become Internationally Known program, Emma was at a crossroads - tired of pouring her energy into traditional employment, she had a million different interests and ideas… But wasn't sure how to bring them together.  After seven months in the program, Emma has a clear path ahead of her. She has created a website for her t, a solo exhibition, participated in her first press interview, and just sold the first painting she’s made in twenty years.

      Spotlight Artist: Taryn Maeia Imrie

Being an artist had always felt central to who Taryn was on a deep level. They knew it helped them feel better to make it… But struggled to see how they could connect it to their larger work in the world. Through the internal work they did with the Become Internationally Known community, the very self-doubt that caused them to feel isolated now brings them into a deeper connection and a sense of purpose.

      Spotlight Artist: Dawn Flores

Before joining the Become Internationally Known community, Dawn wanted to combine her work as an artist with her heartfelt concern about social and environmental issues… But wasn’t sure how. She realized she feared being a “woman with something to say.” Today, however, she playfully describes herself as "a revolutionary disguised as a botanical illustrator.” And her new clients are loving it!

Jeff Brackett has always been different. His mind had always been busy with more ideas than he could keep up with. He felt frustrated and overwhelmed in his studio. Jeff learned to slow down. He embraced having too many ideas to keep up with as a gift. He developed a set of beautiful mantras to guide him over the eight months he’s spent in the Become Internationally Known program. His favourite mantra: “This is just the beginning.”

Artist Amanda Ross-McDonald dissatisfaction spilled over into her personal life, and she found herself in the midst of angry outbursts with her husband. She found it harder and harder to repress the full expression of her authentic self. It was time to break up with her job and get good at listening to herself. She joined the Become Internally Known community and began to do just that. And it paid off in spades. Today she works in a dedicated studio for her artwork and completes new paintings every week, a total of 23 so far!

Before he joined the Become Internationally Known program seven months ago, Howell struggled to loosen up in his studio. He was afraid of the unknown, and his work felt too rigid. Today, his studio is a much more vibrant and playful place. He has completed 8 new paintings, designed an upcoming exhibit, and created a digital, interactive experience of his paintings.

      Spotlight Artist: Sarah-Kay Franck

In previous years, Sarah-Kay Franck struggled to spend a weekend in the studio every few months or during school holidays. The lockdown provided an opportunity to reflect on this. She realized that being an artist was foundational to who she is… And decided to make it a more pressing matter.
Seven months into the Become Internationally Known program, Sarah-Kay now works six hours a day, four days a week in her studio! She’s made 5 new pieces, embraced her love of portraiture… And confidently calls herself an artist (something she could not have done not that long ago!)

When Cassie Lozuk joined the Become Internationally Known program seven months ago, she struggled with this last bit. Cassie developed a more balanced relationship with that inner critic through her work in the program. With the support of the curriculum and our community in coaching sessions, she also learned to listen to what felt good and what felt right.

Before joining the Become Internationally Known program seven months ago, artist Heather Harbaugh’s inner critic was a giant bummer. Since starting the program, she’s made over 50 new ceramic pieces – many of which sold. One was featured in an online exhibition for emerging artists. She received three commissions for her “prophetic portrait” series, completed 10 new watercolour mediations and 6 intuitive/prophetic-inspired acrylic paintings.
