Spotlight Artist: Sage Harrington

How is your relationship with money? For many of us, it is well…frought.

Whether we have it…or not, grew up with it…or not…our relationship to money is often a place
where some of our deepest beliefs about ourselves come to the surface.

Before musician Sage Harrington joined our program, she had a hard time
believing in her own worth and it was holding her back financially.

Her inner critic had so much to say, she had become unaware that it was even there…
an omnipresent voice in her internal landscape telling her she shouldnt ask for “too much”
for her concerts and workshops.

Participating consistently in coaching sessions and our activities around self-worth and pricing,
Sage began to better understand her own value.

She strengthened her resolve, believing in the power of her voice and allowing her work
to speak for itself unapologetically.

As her relationship to her inner critic and self-worth shifted, so too did her financial reality.

Recently, she quintupled (5x) her income on a *single* gig!
What did her client say in response to this?
“Sage, you are not cheap, but that is a good thing!”

That led her to have a revelation.
Sage doesn't want to be, “affordable,” she wants to be highly valued. Expensive, even!

“I believe it’s possible to make the kind of money I want. I believe that I have it in me to be the bandleader (and boss!) of my dreams. I think my perspective matters and needs to be heard. I believe that people are out there who want to see me and hear me and hear my music and pay me! I feel excited! And scared, but the quality of the fear has a lightness to it, a sense of possibility…” - Sage Harrington
