Spotlight Artist: Georgia Wisbey

The right tool for the job changes everything. Imagine building a house with
hot glue instead of nails or mowing the lawn with a pair of scissors.

Even with all the passion in the world, you still need the right tools
to feel empowered and get the job done.

We need to see ourselves making progress with our efforts and
build momentum to move forward, to grow and shine as brightly as we are meant to.

Sovereign Artist Georgia Wisbey always had an abundance of passion and vision…
But before joining our community, something was blocking her ability to
believe in herself and her work.

This made sharing her work with others very difficult.

Working with our team and witnessing other artists as they grew past their own challenges,
Georgia realized that her blocks were both internal AND practical.

She needed tangible professional tools to get her work into the world…
to see its impact in her community and thrive creatively.
Together, we worked to get Georgia the tool she needed.

With support, she wrote a bio and artist statement that aligned with her voice in an authentic way.
She documented her work professionally for the first time.

Fine-tuning the way she spoke about her work and online visibility helped her secure a glowing
online review, solo exhibition, and develop a new body of work beyond her wildest dreams.
She just needed the right tools…

Her advice to other artists: “Get organised, do the work, be vulnerable, trust yourself
and your work and vision…ENJOY THE PROCESS!”
